What's New Dawn?
New Dawn is a passion project that celebrates the beloved T2A/UOR eras of Ultima Online. Rather than perfectly recreating any specific time period, we've built something that captures the spirit of those classic days while incorporating thoughtful improvements based on my journey - from my days playing the original UO (1997-2001), IPY (Mid 2000's), and UOR (2018-2022).
Veterans of UOR era shards will find a familiar home with enough fresh ideas to make exploration exciting again. For newcomers, this is your chance to experience what made early UO magical, refined by years of player perspective. We occupy that perfect middle ground - more traditional than modern shards but more refined than a pure historical clone.
